Proper jetting = MORE FUN!

So since I can remember I have been struggling with a slight flat spot in my acceleration, just out of idle. I have on numerous occasions tried to adjust my mixture, but never with much significant success. I stupidly had never really examined my jet sizes.  I was under the assumption that my jets were all the stock sizes.. and therefore just needed to be dialed in... WELL.... I was totally wrong. Whoever set up my scooter.. forever ago, put all different jet sizes, none of which were even close to stock. Since I have no mods on exhaust or carb, my understanding is that I should be optimal with the stock sizes.

(My carb is standard for the P200. Dell'Orto SI 24/24- Non Oil Injected)

So last week I ordered all new jets, from the folks at Scooter Mercato. New jets:  Idle Jet: 55-160,  Atomizer Jet -BE3, Main Jet - 116. Also as I was examining my main jet stack, I realized that the main jet ( the smallest one on the bottom of the stack) was detached and just sitting at the bottom of the hole, covered in gas... I fished it out!

I read up as much as I could and that was really helpful, I'd recommend the sites below for carb info.
So now with all my correct jets in place, adjusting and dialing in the mixture was really very simple and the bike is running the best it ever has, and NO flat spots in my acceleration. It so much easier to ride now, and more fun as well!! Whoo hoo.
